K9 Officer, Shiloh, Recieves First K9-KOT™
Shiloh Receives the First K9-KOT™ Shiloh was one of the Homewood Police Department's first multipurpose dogs. He was trained in tracking, narcotics detection, and apprehension of suspects. After about 7 years with the department, Shiloh retired due to showing age-related health problems. He is now enjoying retired life with Cpl. Ted Springfield, Shiloh’s third and final handler. To thank Shiloh for his service and to help him feel as comfortable as possible, we donated a K9-KOT™! His K9-KOT™ keeps him off the hard ground, which helps relieve the pressure on his joints, but it is still low enough to the ground for him to easily climb on. GO-KOT® and Caliber...
